SNAPP Architects is a consulting architectural firm situated in Centurion, Gauteng. We have been trading since 1998 and have worked on projects in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia. We specialize in Residential, Educational Facilities, Health Care Facilities, Office & Industrial Developments, Group Housing and Master Planning.

Sonja Neitz - SNAPP Architects

Sonja Neitz

Founding partner and Principal Architect at SNAPP Architects. Graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Pretoria and a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Open Window Academy. She is a member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession and the Pretoria Institute for Architecture. She has been a Lecturer (Earth Sciences) and External Examiner (Architectural Design, Building Technology and Construction Technology) at the University of Pretoria. She is fluent in Afrikaans, English and German and has 26 years' experience in the built environment.

Patrick Mann - SNAPP Architects

Patrick Mann

Founding partner at SNAPP Architects in 1998. He has attended both the University of South Africa and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Management) and Diplomas in Architecture and Property Valuation. He is a member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) and the South African Institute of Valuers (SAIV). He has served on the board of several companies and has consulted to the Embassies of the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea in South Africa. He has 34 years’ experience in the built environment.

Bruce McLean - SNAPP Architects

Bruce McLean

Master Draughtsman and graduate of the Inscape Design College, Bruce joined SNAPP Architects in 2010. He has extensive knowledge in construction technology and architectural detailing. In addition to being fully conversant in Caddie, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion and SketchUp, he is a professional photographer. He is a member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession. He has 14 years' experience in the built environment.

Rosina Buta - SNAPP Architects

Rosina Buta

Rosina joined SNAPP Architects in 2011 and is enrolled in the SNAPP Mentorship Programme. She is studying towards a qualification in Early Childhood Development at UNISA. Her indomitable work ethic and cheerful disposition make her an integral part of our team.

Clare Hughes - SNAPP Architects

Clare Hughes

Clare was born in Pietermaritzburg, where she lived until moving to Cape Town in 2007 to study Architecture at the University of Cape Town, and later work in architectural practices in the city. In 2012 Clare moved to Pretoria to study at the University of Pretoria where she completed her masters degree in 2013. In 2012 she joined the 1:1 Agency of Engagement, a multidisciplinary organisation involved in informal settlement upgrade in Gauteng. Clare joined SNAPP in 2014 and has been involved in a number of large commercial as well as residential projects; namely the NRF Building Extensions, Copperleaf Estate Residence and Rietvlei Ridge Residence.

Yvette Steyn - SNAPP Architects

Yvette Steyn

Office Manager and Administrator for SNAPP Architects since 2014. With ten years of international experience and a Bachelor's Degree in International Hotel Management (Cum Laude) she ensures that business operations are streamlined.

Sebastian Meyer

Sebastian Meyer

Sebastian is the latest addition to the SNAPP team, joining us in mid 2015. He was born in Bavaria, Germany, and moved to South Africa in 1991. He has been a member of the South African Council for the Architectural Profession since 2006 and has more than 13 years’ experience as a Professional Architectural Draughtsman, specialising in the residential sector. He is conversant in Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, Turbocad and Lumion and fluent in Afrikaans, English and German.
